POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The North American Marketing Lead manages the day-to-day execution of regional marketing initiatives and serves as the key liaison between strategic planning and tactical implementation. This role coordinates campaign activities, ensuring alignment across departments, and delivers on KPIs for product launches, promotions, and brand awareness programs. With a deep understanding of market trends and customer behavior, the Marketing Lead translates high-level strategies into actionable plans that elevate the brand in retail channels.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Campaign Execution:
- Manage the rollout of marketing campaigns from concept to delivery across multiple platforms.
- Ensure campaigns adhere to timelines, budgets, and brand standards.
Product Launch Support:
- Coordinate marketing support for new product introductions across North American markets.
- Work with product management and sales teams to craft compelling launch messaging.
Trade Marketing:
- Develop marketing materials and retail programs to support sell-through at key accounts.
- Execute in-store promotions, merchandising strategies, and POP displays.
Sales Support & Channel Marketing
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop marketing tools that support sell-in and sell-through efforts.
- Create promotional materials, sell sheets, and presentations tailored to retailer and distributor needs.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Track performance of campaigns using dashboards and analytics tools.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improvement based on campaign results.
Budget Tracking:
- Maintain accurate records of campaign expenses and vendor costs.
- Work closely with the Director to monitor budget adherence and reallocate funds as needed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Act as the primary connector between marketing, product, creative, and sales teams.
- Facilitate alignment meetings and status updates to ensure campaign progress.
Content Development Oversight:
- Brief creative teams and review deliverables for accuracy and brand compliance.
- Manage timelines and revisions to keep projects on track.
Event & Trade Show Support:
- Coordinate logistics and promotional materials for regional trade shows and events.
- Ensure brand visibility and consistency across all event touchpoints.
Vendor & Partner Coordination:
- Manage day-to-day relationships with local marketing agencies and print vendors.
- Oversee asset delivery, deadlines, and quality control for outsourced work.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- 2+ years of marketing experience, preferably in consumer or durable goods.
- Demonstrated success in leading and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Working knowledge of digital marketing tools and campaign analytics.
- Solid understanding of brand marketing principles and shopper behavior.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across functions and levels.
- Experience working with retailers, distributors, and trade marketing channels.
- Familiarity with project management tools and processes.
- Ability to adapt quickly and problem-solve in a dynamic environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
