Job summary

ONE Campaign in North America seeks a Social Media and Design Coordinator to lead bilingual content for Canada and the US, reporting to the Media Relations Manager. This full-time role is based in Ottawa or Washington, DC with a hybrid schedule and a fast-paced newsroom rhythm.

You will draft social copy in English and French, design assets, support rapid-response campaigns, and collaborate with teams across Europe and Africa to adapt materials for North American audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, in political science, communications, or similar.
• At least 1 year of relevant professional/intern experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Canva, X/Twitter, and Meta platforms.

Responsibilities

• Draft, schedule, and publish social media content across North America channels, with bilingual adaptations.
• Design and format campaign materials in line with ONE’s brand guidelines.
• Contribute to rapid-response content with short timelines.
• Draft social copy with clear advocacy asks linked to campaigns.
• Monitor platform trends and propose native formats for each channel.
• Support owned channels including podcasts and web content.
• Monitor comments and engagement, surfacing risks and opportunities.
• Track and report social media performance and translate metrics into recommendations.
• Collaborate with global teams to adapt materials for North America.
