Job summary

Covestro AG is seeking a Site Learning & Capability Manager in Baytown to lead the development and execution of the site's technical training strategy and capability-building programs. You will drive digital learning, qualification governance, and Train-the-Trainer integrity with a Baytown focus and North American expansion.

The role requires 15–20+ years in industrial manufacturing with advanced degrees and hands-on experience in learning systems, regulatory training, and stakeholder engagement

Qualifications

• Proven ability to design and deliver technical training programs, including needs analysis and curriculum development.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory training requirements (OSHA, EPA) and compliance frameworks.
• Strategic thinker who translates business needs into workforce capability plans.
• Experience working with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to build capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of Baytown's technical training strategy and programs.
• Govern qualification and Train-the-Trainer initiatives with site-level governance.
• Oversee Learning Management System continuity and data governance at the site.
• Drive digital learning transformation and AI-enabled learning strategies.
• Lead regional technical training strategy to position Baytown as NA technical training hub.
• Support new sites with workforce readiness from day one.
• Collaborate with global teams to align with Covestro standards.
