Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Genomics, Biotechnology, or related field.
10+ years of progressive commercial experience in life sciences, genomics, biotech tools, or related markets.
5+ years of sales leadership experience managing regional or national sales teams.
Demonstrated success exceeding revenue targets and scaling commercial organizations.
Experience selling complex scientific instrumentation, genomics platforms, sequencing technologies, or advanced research solutions.
Strong understanding of the academic research and biopharmaceutical customer landscape.
Proven ability to manage strategic, high-value sales opportunities and enterprise accounts.
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver Revenue Growth: Develop and execute the North America sales strategy to achieve annual revenue targets.
Build and Lead the Sales Team: Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team.
Expand Market Presence and Strategic Partnerships: Build relationships with key opinion leaders, research institutions, and biopharma companies.
Business Planning & Operations: Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and business reports; analyze market trends and customer needs; manage sales budgets and investments.
