Job summary

MOBIS Corporate Center of America seeks a Head of Business Management to drive profit and loss management across North America, overseeing planning, performance analysis, and profitability improvement initiatives. The role consolidates entity-level functions and enhances profitability management through region-wide cost competitiveness.

The incumbent will lead annual and long-term business plans, perform variance analysis, and deliver insights to HQ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Management Control, Business Planning, or related fields within manufacturing.
• Extensive experience in business planning, budgeting, forecasting, profitability management, and financial performance analysis.
• Experience managing financial performance across multiple entities or geographic regions.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing cost structures, investment analysis, and profitability improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define roles, responsibilities, operational standards, and communication framework between entities and the center.
• Standardize profit and loss management processes, including business planning, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Lead annual and long-term business plans coordinating planning activities across entities in the region.
• Review and validate the adequacy of key business planning components (revenue, headcount, cost & expense).
• Direct monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual performance analysis.
• Analyze variances for KPI, including revenue, COGS, SG&A and operating profit.
• Lead integrated profitability and KPI management by entity, business unit, and product groups.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for underperforming areas and establish targeted profitability improvement plans.
• Monitor entity-level performance and track the progress of profitability improvement targets.
• Drive the identification and execution of profitability improvement initiatives by analyzing profit and loss structures.
• Quantify financial impacts, establish targets, and validate performance results for each improvement initiative.
• Deliver periodic performance analysis and reporting to corporate headquarters.
• Provide deep-dive analysis on key variances, P&L risks and issues.
• Establish data integrity and alignment between individual entity level reports and region-wide consolidated data.
