Veritext is seeking a Payroll Manager, North America, to lead payroll operations across the United States and Canada. You will ensure accurate, timely biweekly payrolls in Dayforce, manage tax reporting, and drive continuous process improvements with cross-functional partners.

This role offers hybrid or remote work depending on location, with an emphasis on building a compliant, employee-focused payroll function and developing a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of payroll experience, including multi-state US and Canadian payroll.
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Dayforce experience is highly preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Own payroll from start to finish for US & Canada, biweekly in Dayforce.
• Lead payroll operations, audits, and tax reporting for NA.
• Improve processes, controls, and accuracy across payroll systems.
• Provide clear payroll communications and manager training.
• Collaborate with People, Finance, Legal, and external partners.
