Hillebrand Gori - A company of DHL in Edison, NJ is seeking an Ocean Freight Procurement Manager for North & Central America. You will own the freight negotiation process across NA export lanes, coordinating with internal teams to optimize carrier performance and spend.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in ocean freight procurement, strong negotiation skills, and a strategic mindset to drive cost efficiency while ensuring service quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
5+ years in ocean freight procurement, carrier management, or logistics.
Experience negotiating ocean freight contracts and pricing.
Knowledge of global ocean freight markets and trade lanes.

Responsibilities

Support NA procurement with ocean transport needs across lanes.
Analyze trade lanes, freight indices, and market trends.
Negotiate with ocean carriers for exports and develop contracts.
Manage internal communications and carrier policy alignment.
Provide pricing guidance to accounts and tenders.
Develop volume and spend analyses for optimization.
Participate in global tenders and BECS contract support.
