Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required; PhD preferred.
• Minimum 15 years in the power network industry with transmission expertise.
• Deep expertise in system planning, techno-economic analysis, regulatory frameworks, and stakeholder engagement.
• Recognized industry expert with strong reputation in the power sector.
• Strong communication and cross-functional leadership across diverse stakeholders.
• Extensive North American and international industry connections.

Responsibilities

• Lead Market Innovation leadership to develop solution roadmaps, value propositions, partnerships, and growth initiatives.
• Drive techno-economic analyses to support Innovation Incubator projects.
• Provide strategic advisory support to US Power Consulting and customers facing grid challenges.
• Represent Hitachi Energy in industry associations and conferences to shape grid technology directions.
• Act as a thought leader on grid tech, transmission, and distribution trends.
