Stellantis NV seeks a Director of AI/ML Engineering — North America to build and lead a 6–8 engineer team, delivering production AI products across engineering, quality, and vehicle data use cases. This hands-on leadership role emphasizes solution development, not just modeling, with strong cross-functional collaboration and global alignment.

You’ll own delivery from design to production, drive recruitment, and establish engineering standards while working with PMs and MLOps.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software engineering with hands-on solution development and production systems.
• Proven track record shipping and operating production software and ML/AI-powered products.
• Strong Python and cloud experience (AWS) with modern data/ML platforms.
• Experience delivering agentic and generative AI workloads and end-to-end systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the NA AI/ML engineering team (6–8 engineers) and manage recruitment pipelines.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of production AI/ML solutions including data pipelines, models, APIs, and UIs.
• Set engineering standards: architecture, code reviews, testing, CI/CD; stay hands-on.
• Collaborate with PM and global teams; coordinate with MLOps for production readiness.
