Job summary

GKN Aerospace in North America is seeking a Global Mobility Manager to oversee mobility programs across the United States, Mexico and Canada, ensuring successful assignments, relocations, immigration and tax compliance while partnering with HR and external vendors.

You will lead end-to-end mobility operations, guide complex mobility matters, optimize costs and deliver an exceptional employee experience within a regional Mobility model reporting to the Global Mobility Director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Minimum 4 years of Global Mobility experience with a multinational
• Strong knowledge of tax, immigration and payroll for globally mobile employees
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or similar HR systems
• Strong diplomatic, empathetic and relationship-building skills
• Self-starter with ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Flexible and pragmatic problem-solver
• Willingness to travel within the US and occasionally internationally
• U.S. Person status per ITAR for export compliance

Responsibilities

• Provide global mobility expertise and guidance to North America colleagues on international assignments and business travel.
• Support assignment planning, anticipate issues and recommend solutions to minimise costs.
• Oversee US immigration in collaboration with an immigration lawyer for compliance and timeliness.
• Manage annual expat processes (salary review, tax year ends, incentive releases).
• Partner with stakeholders (tax, HR, payroll, export control, finance, travel) and vendors on mobility requirements.
• Collaborate with payroll teams to handle international payroll and tax compliance.
