Job summary

Hitachi Rail STS USA, INC. is seeking a Head of Construction Management for North America, based in Pittsburgh, to oversee complex infrastructure projects. You will lead a skilled team, manage safety, quality, and delivery, and drive client relationships and strategic growth.

The role demands extensive NA experience, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of construction regulations. Travel across NA is expected; a PE/PMP is preferred. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in construction management, incl. 5+ years in senior leadership in NA.
• Proven track record delivering multi-million infrastructure projects on time and budget.
• Strong knowledge of NA codes, permits, and regulatory processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement CM strategies aligned with global and regional needs.
• Lead North America team of construction professionals.
• Oversee all project phases from planning to closeout.
• Ensure schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Negotiate contracts with clients and subcontractors.
