Job summary

Hitachi Rail is seeking a Head of Construction Management for North America to lead all construction activities in the region from Pittsburgh, PA. The role balances strategic leadership with hands-on oversight of complex infrastructure and industrial projects.

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years in construction management, NA leadership experience, and a PE or equivalent certification. Strong client relations and travel across North America are expected.

Qualifications

• Candidate has 15+ years in construction management with 5+ years in a senior leadership role in NA.
• Proven track record delivering multi-million dollar projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of NA construction regulations, codes, and permitting processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement construction management strategies aligned with global Hitachi Rail objectives.
• Lead North America construction team, fostering safety, quality and collaboration.
• Oversee all project phases from planning to closeout with schedule and budget adherence.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with clients, subcontractors, and regulators.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, safety, and technology.
