Job summary

Aon is seeking a Senior Compensation Manager, North America, to lead analysis, modeling and guidance for compensation programs across the region. You will partner with People Partners, Legal and Finance to ensure pay decisions are competitive, fair and affordable in the US, with support for Canada, Bermuda and the Cayman Islands.

You will own key activities in the annual compensation cycle, run market pricing analyses, shape guidelines for early-career hiring, and develop analytics that test

Qualifications

• Compensation expertise: sound knowledge of market pricing, salary structures, salary administration, incentive design and annual compensation processes.
• Analysis and modelling: advanced Excel and compensation analytics, turning data into actionable recommendations.
• Project and priority management: delivering large projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Stakeholder partnering and influence: working with partners to reach well-founded decisions.
• Clear communication: translating complex concepts into practical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead key activities in the annual compensation cycle, including salary increases, incentive awards and budget allocation.
• Run salary range reviews and market pricing analyses across multiple roles and functions.
• Develop early-career hiring rates and other compensation guidelines.
• Build compensation models and analytics that test market competitiveness, internal equity and cost.
• Advise People Partners on hiring offers, promotions, transfers, organizational changes, market adjustments and retention.
• Collaborate with Finance to assess compensation costs and workforce investments.
