Job summary

Aon is seeking an Associate Compensation Consultant to join the Employee Rewards advisory practice across multiple major offices in the U.S. This role focuses on compensation design, market benchmarking, and job architecture, leveraging data analytics and client collaboration to drive strategic rewards decisions.

Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years in HR/compensation consulting, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of human resources, compensation consulting and/or relevant experience.
• Ability to translate data into meaningful insights and clearly articulate the results.
• Ability to build complex Excel workbooks and lead projects across standard offerings.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across audiences.
• Synthesize large data into accessible findings.
• Strong consultative and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Candidates may be considered for a Senior Associate role.

Responsibilities

• Support deliverables for small-to-medium-sized projects and defined workstreams.
• Develop client-ready deliverables that synthesize complex information.
• Support compensation design, job architecture, market benchmarking, salary structure development and impact analysis.
• Review methodology, analysis, and outputs across projects.
• Serve as a resource among engagement leaders, teams, and clients.
• Develop reports and presentations communicating findings and recommendations.
