Job summary

You will build trusted executive relationships, identify and advance custom manufacturing opportunities, guide junior managers, and represent LANXESS at industry conferences and client meetings to drive new business.
Qualifications
- Degree or higher in a science or business field; advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years of professional experience in related pharma/biotech/cmo markets.
- Proven senior BD or commercial leadership in North America.
Responsibilities
- Shape and drive the regional business development agenda for North America focused on Big Pharma and biotech.
- Build trusted executive relationships with strategic pharma and biotech customers.
- Translate market intelligence into a focused BD strategy aligned with headquarters.
- Identify and advance custom manufacturing opportunities with internal teams and customers.
- Provide guidance to junior sales staff and ensure coordinated market coverage.
- Represent LANXESS as a senior commercial ambassador at meetings and industry events.
