Job summary

Boyne Resorts seeks a SnowSports Nordic Instructor/Program Supervisor to lead preseason planning, class progression, and daily Nordic operations at Summit East. You will build weekly session plans, coordinate with rental staff, and supervise instructors to ensure guest experiences meet our standards.

The role requires two or more seasons in ski programs, PSIA Level 2+ preferred, and the ability to work weekends/holidays. Wage ranges from $26.70–$27.70/hr with limited benefits.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication across written, verbal, and electronic channels to staff, guests, and leadership.
• Excellent project management with Planner/Lists/SharePoint and tools such as Asana, MS Project, or Smartsheet; track progress to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead preseason planning and season-opening preparation, and manage projects from start to finish while updating the Nordic Center Manager.
• Build the class plan against the learning progression framework, including cohorts and initial instructor assignments.
• Set up cohort schedules in Flaik before opening and confirm accuracy before each operating weekend.
• Oversee Nordic classes on operating days, including Junior Nordic, Three-Pack, group lessons, and the Nordic Tour; adjust daily plans as needed.
• Coordinate daily with the Nordic Rental Lead to ensure guests are fitted and ready.
• Direct Unit Leads and Instructors on operating days with check-in, deployment, guidance, and end-of-day wrap-up.
