Job summary

The Mint Gaming Hall Bowling Green is seeking a friendly beverage service professional to take and deliver drink orders in a casino setting. You will handle cash and card transactions and look for upsell opportunities to enhance guest experiences.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and the ability to obtain required work and alcohol certifications. Must be 21+ and able to pass requested background checks.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Efficiently and accurately takes and delivers beverage orders in a timely and friendly manner.
• Handles cash and credit transactions associated with beverage sales, accurately and efficiently.
• Provides appropriate change to guests.
• Proactively seeks guest opportunities and anticipates guest's needs to create "magical moments".
• Interacts with guests in a friendly manner while taking drink orders, to include up-selling.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
• Internal candidates must have been in their current position for at least six months and have no active disciplinary action during the last six months.
• Must be able to obtain required work cards, alcohol awareness cards and non-gaming registration as required by the local jurisdiction.
• Must be 20 + 1 day years of age or older.
• Obtain alcohol certification through STAR prior to first day of employment.
