Job summary

Family Focus in Chicago seeks a HR Recruiting Specialist to lead full-cycle recruiting for the nonprofit organization. You will partner with hiring managers and HRBP to build a strong talent pipeline, source candidates through social networks, and manage onboarding processes.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in HR and at least two years of recruiting experience, with preference for bilingual Spanish speakers and nonprofit experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in HR or related field.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
• At least 2 years of proven recruiting experience (in-house or agency).
• Experience recruiting for nonprofit education or social services is a plus.
• Knowledge of employment laws and job postings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hiring managers and HRBP to develop job descriptions and recruitment strategy.
• Post jobs to boards, newspapers, colleges and other sources.
• Source candidates via databases, social networks, and referrals.
• Review resumes, conduct phone screens, and assess candidate qualifications.
• Facilitate onboarding and required paperwork.
• Maintain ATS and deliver recruitment metrics reports.
