Job summary

The Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits (OKCNP) is seeking a part-time Shared Financial Services Coordinator to support outsourced accounting services for Oklahoma nonprofits. The role offers on-site work at OKCNP Headquarters in Oklahoma City and requires strong Excel/Word skills, QuickBooks experience, and excellent communication.

Flexible, nonprofit-focused environment with a focus on client service and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Experienced in MS Excel, MS Word, and some form of accounting software; minimum intermediate level.
Experience in QuickBooks; preferred.
Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)
Nonprofit accounting experience a plus.
AA or BS in Accounting or related field, applicable job experience in lieu of a degree
Direct experience in bookkeeping/accounting write up services preferred

Responsibilities

Develop and document operating procedures and job aids for Shared Financial Services Program.
Develop and maintain reports and other metrics for program evaluation and improvement.
Work as a member of a team dedicated to excellent client service and continuous improvement.
Provide general administrative functions such as expense reporting, consultation with other team members, and attendance at scheduled meetings.
Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable data entry support to clients.
Reconcile monthly bank statements and account schedules.
Assemble and organize client’s records and documents.
Must be able to sit for long periods of time, lift more than five pounds, and communicate on telephone and in person.
