Job summary

OKCNP seeks a Shared Financial Services Accountant to provide accurate bookkeeping and accounting for multiple client organizations, maintain ledgers, prepare reports, and ensure confidentiality. You will support budgets, audits, tax readiness, reconciliations, payroll coordination, and client communications, with occasional travel within Oklahoma.

Bachelor's degree in accounting, 3+ years nonprofit experience preferred; CPA a plus; strong Excel and accounting software skills; Exempt, on‑site

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred; 3+ years accounting experience.
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Supervisory experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Record daily financial transactions.
Reconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Advise on payroll preparation requirements and reporting compliance.
Maintain general ledger and journal entries.
Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
Assist with budgets, audits, and tax preparation readiness.
Monitor cash flow and resolve accounting discrepancies.
Maintain accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Online).
Communicate professionally with clients and meet deadlines.
Provide general administrative functions such as expense reporting and attendance at meetings.
