Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Five (5) + years of related accounting and finance experience.
• Experience with nonprofit accounting; ACUMATICA and Paycom knowledge preferred.
• Professional demeanor and positive customer service orientation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to disseminate financial information clearly.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently on multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial administration of government, foundation, and corporate grants from pre-award through closeout.
• Monitor fiscal compliance, review budgets, and prepare grant financial reports.
• Process expenditure requests and secure reimbursements from state and federal government.
• Ensure accurate allocation of expenses and compliance with Uniform Guidance.
• Collaborate with Development and Program staff on proposal budgets and financial guidance.
• Partner with Development to monitor funding and perform reconciliations.
• Coordinate funder monitoring visits and audits.
• Support full-cycle accounting including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist in monthly/year-end closing and audit preparation.
• Identify process improvements to strengthen internal controls.
• Participate in finance projects and ad hoc reports as requested by CFO.
• Support Finance team to ensure strong internal controls and separation of duties.
