YWCA Greater Los Angeles is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage the accounting and reporting for government, foundation, and corporate grants, including month-end close and audits. The role partners with Development and Program staff to support budgets and financial reports, ensuring compliance and timely draws.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field, 5+ years of nonprofit accounting experience, and strong Excel skills; ACUMATICA and Paycom

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Five (5) or more years of related accounting and finance experience.
• Non-profit accounting knowledge preferred.
• Experience with ACUMATICA and Paycom systems preferred.
• Professional demeanor and strong customer service orientation.
• Excellent communication and confidential information handling.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsabilidades

• Manage accounting and reporting of government, foundation, and corporate grants.
• Oversee month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Assist with audits and responses to information requests.
• Ensure Uniform Guidance compliance and funder requirements.
• Collaborate with Development and Program staff on budgets and financial guidance.
• Support weekly/monthly reconciliation with funding sources.
• Identify process improvements to strengthen internal controls.
