Job summary

YWCA Greater Los Angeles is seeking a seasoned Grant Accountant to oversee the accounting and reporting for government, foundation, and corporate grants. The role supports month-end close, audit readiness, and internal controls in a non-profit environment.

Responsibilities include budgeting collaboration, grant reimbursements, compliance with Uniform Guidance, and financial reporting. Strong systems knowledge (ACUMATICA and Paycom) and exceptional communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in grant accounting for government, foundation, and corporate grants.
• Knowledge of non-profit accounting practices and Uniform Guidance.
• Strong budgeting and reporting capabilities.
• Proficiency with ERP and payroll systems (ACUMATICA, Paycom).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and reporting for government, foundation, and corporate grants.
• Oversee month-end close, journal entries, accruals, GL analysis, and reconciliations.
• Prepare grant financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Uniform Guidance and funder requirements.
• Coordinate grant budgets with Development and Program teams and assist with reimbursements.
