The American Heart Association is offering an internship on the Development Team in Austin, TX with a hybrid work arrangement. You will assist with fundraising activities for Go Red for Women and related campaigns, working 20‑25 hours per week and earning $23 per hour.

Open to seniors or graduate students pursuing business, nonprofit management, marketing, event planning or public relations, this role provides hands‑on nonprofit experience and access to Heart U and professional development

Qualifications

• Seniors or graduate students pursuing relevant degrees.
• Comfort with outreach to vendors and donors.
• Experience in promotion, sales, or fundraising and event planning for nonprofits or for‑profits.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and implementation of fundraising activities, logistics, and admin support for the Austin market.
• Support Go Red for Women, Cycle Nation, Heart Ball, and other campaigns.
• Aid pre‑campaign planning, day‑of event execution, and post‑campaign wrap‑up.
