Qualifications

• Seniors or graduate students in business, communications, PR, nonprofit management or event management preferred.
• Experience or interest in promotion, sales, or fundraising.
• Comfort with vendor outreach via phone and email to vendors and donors.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication with community leaders, volunteers, and staff.
• Proficiency with multiple social media platforms and Canva.

Responsibilities

• Support fundraising campaigns, donor stewardship, and volunteer engagement with Heart Walk, Go Red for Women, and Heart of Houston.
• Conduct prospect research on potential corporate and community partners.
• Assist data entry, reporting, and record maintenance in Salesforce, Tableau, and other systems.
• Prepare meeting materials, presentations, and campaign collateral.
• Provide administrative support for volunteer committees, including scheduling and follow-up.
• Assist with outreach to volunteers, sponsors, and partners.
• Develop and update marketing materials for campaigns.
• Support print, TV and social media content for campaigns.
• Provide event support including pre-event prep and post-event follow-up.
