Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a full-time Non‑Profit Organization Coordinator to join our team at Nu Stadium in Miami, Florida. $22.00 – $27.00 / hour

What will you do?
- Networks with local community and non-profit organizations to partner with them for events contracted at Nu Stadium
- Attend events geared toward non-profit groups and fundraising opportunities
- Cold calls/emails to potential fundraising organizations to fill business needs
- Verify non-profit eligibility, and track and organize non-profit organizations' contracts in accordance with Delaware North's policy
- Coordinate training schedules for non-profit group volunteers and deliver trainingin compliance with federal, state and local regulations regarding alcohol service and sanitation
- Ensures non-profit groups follow company policies on guest service and alcohol service through training and enforcement
- Coordinates staffing of groups to ensure adequate coverage for each event
- Tracks progress and provide updates to management on the numbers of volunteers over business needs
- Participates in event day group check-in and check-out
- Meets with new groups at their first event and assists with getting them acclimated to their location
- Other duties as assigned
More about you
- Experience with sales and/or recruiting preferred
- Experience in a non-profit or fundraising setting highly preferred
- Experience in a hospitality sports environment preferred
- Experience with public speaking and presenting to a group
- Must be self-motivated, able to work without direct supervision, eager to be challenged and initiate projects and opportunities, able to implement rules and direct staff
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and basic math skills
- Skills in customer service and employee relations
- Capacity to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical requirements
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule to accommodate meetings with groups, to include evenings and weekends
- Must be available to work all event days, which may include evenings, weekends and holidays
- Will travel locally to meet with groups/attend events up to 50%
