Job summary

RaisingHealth, a Brooklyn-based nonprofit, seeks a Manager of Capacity Building, Development and Fundraising to strengthen fundraising strategy, grant development, and donor relations. You will partner with senior leadership to secure diverse funding and build lasting partnerships with foundations, corporations, and community organizations.

The role focuses on proposal writing, budgeting, reporting, and stewardship, with staff supervision and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience leading/coordinating public health initiative projects.
• Non-profit or community-based setting experience preferred.
• 2 years supervising staff including professional development and mentoring.
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or related field.
• Proficient with MS Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Bilingual Spanish or Chinese skills are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages fundraising and development strategies.
• Maintains records of funders, prospects, donor activity, grants and related activities.
• Collaborates with senior leadership to implement annual fundraising plans including cultivation and stewardship.
• Researches new institutional, corporate and foundation funding opportunities.
• Monitors grant deliverables, budgets, timelines and reporting requirements.
• Supports cultivation and stewardship through meetings, site visits and impact updates.
