Bristol Bay Foundation in Anchorage seeks a Finance & Grants Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting, grants administration, and financial reporting. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will manage budgets, grants, scholarships, and ensure compliance with nonprofit and federal grant requirements.

You will partner with program staff, auditors, and external partners to maintain accurate records, support audits, and strengthen financial controls while improving workflows.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressively responsible accounting experience, nonprofit or federal funding preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Experience with nonprofit fund accounting, restricted funding, and budgeting.
• Experience with federal grant administration and familiarity with Uniform Guidance preferred.
• Experience supporting audits, tax preparation, and other financial or grant compliance activities.

Aufgaben

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage month-end and year-end closes, financial statements, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll allocations, and internal controls.
• Administer grants, budgets, reporting, and compliance throughout the grant lifecycle.
• Maintain grant files and prepare records for audits and external funders.
• Coordinate with auditors, program staff, and external partners on financial matters.
