Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in general ledger, payroll, reconciliation of accounts.
• Nonprofit accounting experience is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting duties and monthly reconciliation of accounts, including deposits and credit card expense management.
• Prepare bi-weekly payroll for processing by third-party vendor and record journal entries.
• Design and prepare monthly financial reports and analyses for funds, initiatives and projects.
• Support gift shop and file sales tax returns; provide audit support and scheduling reports.
• Assist in bank reconciliation, budget preparation and general ledger reconciliation.
• Support benefits administration and COBRA management; file Form 5500s as needed.
