The Denver Foundation is seeking a Manager of Finance and Accounting to strengthen financial operations, improve reporting, and support strategic decision-making across the organization. You will supervise the accounting team and partner with the Controller to drive accuracy and efficiency.

Reporting to the Controller in the FIT Department, the role emphasizes budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis, with collaboration across leaders to shape organizational growth and equity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or equivalent experience.
• Seven years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
• CPA, MBA, or similar advanced credentials are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Oversee accounting activity and general ledger with accuracy.
• Lead monthly and annual close processes and analyses.
• Manage gifts, grants, investments, and fund activity accounting.
• Coordinate annual budget development and forecasting.
• Develop multi-year financial models and scenario analyses.
• Prepare management reports and dashboards for leadership.
