Felician Services, Inc. in Chicago seeks a Financial Analyst to provide accounting and financial support to the Finance Department and the supported Ministries.

You will handle bank reconciliations, journal entries, capital assets, accounts payable, revenue and deferred revenue, and regulatory reporting using SAGE Intaact. Onsite twice a week; travel to supporting ministries as needed; strong nonprofit finance background preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with data extraction from financial systems.

Responsabilidades

• Provide support in bank reconciliations, journal entries, capital assets, accounts payable, revenue and deferred revenue and statutory reporting using SAGE Intaact.
• Support the Controller in cash balance management to optimize cash flow and alert management to issues.
• Oversee accounts payable and credit card reconciliations with proper coding and documentation.
• Design and monitor internal controls to ensure regulatory compliance and safeguard resources.
• Prepare monthly department expenditures reports with budget-to-actual analysis.
• Assist in annual budget preparation, scenario planning and budget entry into the accounting system.
• Support year-end closing, 1099 reporting and audit preparations.
• Extract data from other systems for reporting.
• Provide monthly investment reconciliation support and ministry financial assistance.
