Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Staff Accountant to support grant accounting, fund tracking, and financial reporting in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. The role is 100% onsite in South Bend, IN, with a salary of $55,000–$65,000.

The ideal candidate has Sage Intacct experience, strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIF), and a background in grant or nonprofit accounting. Experience with Bill.com is a plus, and a high degree of accuracy will be valued across departments.

Qualifications

Sage Intacct experience required.
Experience with Bill.com strongly preferred.
Background in grant accounting, fund accounting, or nonprofit accounting preferred.
Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and SUMIF functions.
Ability to manage a high volume of transactions while maintaining exceptional accuracy.

Responsabilités

Review, code, and post bank transactions, deposits, credit card activity, and vendor invoices.
Allocate transactions to the appropriate GL accounts, grants, departments, locations, and funding sources.
Track grant spending and ensure expenses are accurately coded for reporting and compliance purposes.
Research discrepancies, gather supporting documentation, and resolve coding questions across departments.
Maintain accurate financial records and identify opportunities to improve accounting processes.
