Job summary

Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland is seeking a seasoned finance professional to manage program accounting and budgeting for multiple initiatives in Cleveland, OH. The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and clear reporting to leadership.

You will analyze program performance, develop forecasts, and strengthen relationships with funders while ensuring operations align with the organization’s mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Accounting or Associate’s Degree with 5+ years accounting experience.
• Prior experience leading non-profit finance/accounting teams preferred.
• CPA certificate preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting concepts, techniques and principles.
• Proficient in computers and Microsoft Office; experience with USL and FrX.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial analysis of programs to identify trends and areas of concern.
• Compose and submit monthly, quarterly and annual reports to funders.
• Grow and maintain funder relationships within the scope of finances.
• Develop and manage financial forecasts and budgets; monitor profitability and adherence to budget.
• Communicate with department leads and senior leadership on operations and financial statements.
• Ensure accounting procedures comply with standards and regulations.
