Job summary

Alpharus Health, a national nonprofit behavioral health provider, is seeking a Development Associate in Chicago. You will plan and execute donor initiatives, manage donor portfolios, and support corporate/foundation fundraising with prospect research and grant activities.

You will collaborate with Development, Marketing and Volunteer teams to maintain communications, calendars and recognition programs while ensuring donor satisfaction and program integrity.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint; Bloomerang experience preferred.
• Experience with supporting large-scale events and fundraising.
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and prioritize.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute donor campaigns and engagement activities.
• Manage a portfolio of donors and support cultivation, solicitation and stewardship.
• Support corporate/foundation fundraising, including prospect research and grant support.
• Maintain donor database and provide reporting and insights.
• Coordinate development events and collaborate with marketing and volunteer teams.
• Develop content for internal/external communications.
