Job summary

Aspire Indiana Health, Inc. is seeking a Controller to lead financial operations, safeguard financial integrity, and drive GAAP-compliant reporting across multiple sites.

The role includes oversight of general ledger, payroll governance, and audit readiness, reporting to the SVP of Finance, and collaboration with the Chief People Officer on payroll governance. The ideal candidate has a CPA or related certification preferred, with at least five years of accounting experience, and a track record

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field required.
• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible accounting or finance experience required.
• GAAP knowledge and applicable financial accounting standards required.
• Experience with accounting close, financial reporting, reconciliations, internal controls, and audits preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, financial close, and financial reporting.
• Provide payroll oversight and pre-processing review in coordination with Payroll team.
• Ensure internal controls, regulatory compliance, and GAAP alignment across financial operations.
• Prepare for audits and support audit readiness across the organization.
