Job summary

New Foundations Recovery Housing in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a bookkeeper to maintain our nonprofit’s accounting system, handle day-to-day entries, invoices, and reconciliations.

You will contribute to financial statements, grant budgeting, payroll processing via ADP, and help develop finance SOPs while collaborating with program staff and vendors.

This on-site role offers growth in a mission-driven team and opportunities to strengthen financial processes across 11 homes.

Qualifications

• Associate's or higher degree in accounting or finance.
• Four or more years nonprofit bookkeeping experience.
• Grant budgeting experience is a plus.
• Property Management Software and Rent Manager experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic accounting procedures including AR, AP, payroll, GL, journal entries.
• Process invoices and bank deposits.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts weekly and monthly.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and forecasts.
