Wegner CPAs in the United States is seeking a nonprofit audit supervisor to lead nonprofit audit engagements, provide technical expertise, and mentor staff. You will help develop the next generation of accounting professionals while ensuring high-quality work and client satisfaction.

You will oversee audits, reviews and financial statement preparation for nonprofit organizations, manage budgets and timelines, and contribute to the growth of Wegner CPAs’ nonprofit practice.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of external audit experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• CPA license or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam; employer support for CPA efforts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex nonprofit audit engagements.
• Serve as a technical resource on audits, reviews, and financial statements.
• Mentor and supervise staff, providing constructive feedback.
• Perform detailed reviews of workpapers and deliverables for quality and compliance.
• Prepare audit budgets and monitor costs against budget.
• Build trusted client relationships through effective communication and solutions.
• Support business development and RFP responses for nonprofit clients.
