Job summary

Green Hasson & Janks seeks an Audit Manager – Nonprofit/Single Audit in Los Angeles. This hybrid role leads nonprofit audit engagements from planning through delivery, while mentoring staff and maintaining strong client relationships.

You will apply nonprofit accounting expertise, supervise team members, and ensure quality work aligned with GAAS, Government Auditing Standards, and Uniform Guidance. Relocation support may be considered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of public accounting experience with nonprofit focus
• Experience leading nonprofit audits including single audits
• Strong technical research skills and ability to apply guidance

Responsibilities

• Lead audit, review, and compilation engagements for nonprofit organizations, including single audits for government entities.
• Manage engagements from planning through completion within budget and standards.
• Serve as primary day-to-day client contact and maintain understanding of operations and funding sources.
• Supervise, mentor, and review staff and seniors to ensure quality work.
• Apply expertise in nonprofit accounting, GAAS, Government Auditing Standards, and Uniform Guidance.
