Job summary

KerberRose is seeking an experienced Non-Profit Audit Manager to lead nonprofit audit engagements from planning to completion, presenting results to clients, and mentoring audit staff.

The role requires a CPA, five+ years in public accounting with nonprofit experience, and strong GAAP knowledge. You will advise clients on accounting matters, manage multiple engagements, and participate in business development while traveling regionally as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Active CPA license is required.
• Minimum of five years of public accounting experience with nonprofit clients.
• Strong leadership, communication, and client-relations skills.
• Solid GAAP knowledge and internal-control proficiency.
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and Form 990s.

Responsibilities

• Lead nonprofit audit engagements from planning through completion, presenting results to clients.
• Supervise and coach audit staff and seniors across all engagement phases.
• Review financial statements and related audit documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Advise clients on accounting, auditing, and financial reporting matters.
• Identify and resolve complex accounting issues and完善 internal controls testing.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service.
• Participate in business development, networking, and client presentations.
• Contribute to growth of the Audit practice.
