Job summary

Withum's Not-for-Profit Audit Senior role will be based out of any of our office locations. You'll take a lead role on all aspects of audit engagements, from planning to completion, including staff supervision and maintaining strong client relationships.

The role involves working with an integrated team of seasoned CPAs and industry leaders, delivering world-class client service and upholding Withum's culture of teamwork and growth for all colleagues and communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
• CPA or CPA-eligible status preferred.
• 2–3 years of public accounting experience with leadership of multiple engagements.
• Strong analytical and auditing skills with US GAAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement staff on planning and execution of audit, review or compilation engagements.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the audit engagement including staffing and risk assessment.
• Provide supervision and mentoring to staff and communicate with engagement manager and partner.
• Perform attest procedures for nonprofit engagements focusing on trade and membership organizations.
• Collaborate on client issue resolution and advise on regulatory and accounting issues.
