Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP's Nonprofit Advisory team helps mission-driven organizations improve financial reporting, operations, and compliance. The role focuses on CFO advisory, grants management, and audit prep, with a collaborative, hands-on approach aligned to client missions.

You will lead nonprofit engagements, manage project planning and delivery, support grants compliance reviews, and mentor staff while expanding client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field.
• 5+ years of nonprofit accounting or consulting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of financial, accounting, and compliance consulting projects for nonprofit organizations.
• Oversee end-to-end project management including planning, execution, and supervision of engagements related to process improvement and financial reporting.
• Review and support accounting outsourcing services: GL entries, financial statements, month-end/year-end closes, reconciliations, audit readiness.
