Job summary

MANNA is a nonprofit organization in Philadelphia that provides nutrition services to improve the health of people with serious illnesses who need nourishment to heal. The Accounting Manager will lead a broad range of financial activities, partnering with the CFO on strategic planning and reporting.

You will oversee month-end close, budgeting, audits, compliance, and payroll, while maintaining internal controls and communicating with stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 4–6+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with Fund E-Z or similar accounting software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting close processes monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
• Lead budgeting and annual budget preparation with coordination across departments.
• Coordinate annual audits and 990 filings with external firms.
• Maintain internal control policies, procedures and SOPs.
• Support payroll oversight and accounts payable/receivable functions.
• Provide strategic insight to leadership and partner with CFO on financial matters.
