Job summary

The Loan Fund is seeking an Accounting Manager to strengthen accounting processes, oversee fund accounting for loans and grants, and deliver timely financial information to support the organization's mission and operations.

Core duties include year‑end closing and liaison to auditors for the annual financial audit, leading payroll and payroll tax reporting, and preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements; also manage restricted and unrestricted funding and SBA reimbursable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 3–6 years of nonprofit or financial accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Proven ability to organize and manage multiple priorities with analytical and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee year-end closing entries and liaise with auditors for the annual financial audit report.
• Lead payroll processing and annual payroll tax reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Manage restricted and unrestricted funding and SBA reimbursable grant.
