Job summary

Bayview Foundation, Inc. is seeking a detail-driven Accounting Associate to manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and grant-budget tracking.

The role supports the Finance Director and Development Director to ensure accurate month-end close and reporting for a culturally diverse community. The part-time position (20 hours/week) offers $24–$27 per hour and a benefits package including holidays, personal days, and accrued vacation and sick time.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum experience in accounting operations.
• Experience with QuickBooks or equivalent accounting software.
• Experience with Bill.com or equivalent accounts payable software.
• Experience owning accounts payable processes.
• Experience in non-profit accounting or accounting with restricted accounts is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Own Accounts Payable and Receivable operations in the accounting system and Bill.com.
• Support grants tracking and restricted fund expenses and reporting.
• Assist with audit preparation and Form 990 documentation.
• Collaborate with directors to ensure timely financial reporting and process improvements.
