Bayview is looking for a detail-driven and dependable accounting professional to serve as the organization’s Accounting Associate. Bayview is building the accounting infrastructure for our next chapter, and the Accounting Associate is an opportunity to translate the daily operations of a thriving, culturally diverse community into the ledgers, tracking, and reporting that keep it going. This position is responsible for the day-to-day financial operations behind Bayview’s housing and community programming, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and expense tracking against restricted funds and grant budgets, along with monthly account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close. This position works closely with the Finance Director and the Development Director, contributing to the accuracy and timeliness of the financial information senior staff and the board rely on. Prior experience in accounting operations is required, with an emphasis on strong organizational skills, accuracy, follow-through, and the ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.
The Accounting Associate is a part-time (20 hour/week) hourly position with an hourly rate of $24-$27 depending on experience. This position comes with a competitive benefits package: 11 paid holidays; 2 personal days, and accrued vacation and sick time.
