Job summary

Kansas Children’s Service League in Wichita, KS is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our finance team. You will assist in day-to-day operations of the business office, prepare journal entries, vouchers, post to the general ledger and maintain the vendor master.

You will perform reconciliations and provide monthly/quarterly reports related to funding sources. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional evenings and weekends, and includes a benefits package described on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field.
• 2 years of finance or accounting experience.
• Proficient in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, vouchers, and subsidiary ledger reconciliation.
• Perform financial analysis on various general ledger accounts.
• Assist with audit schedules.
• Act as liaison between program staff and finance.
• Oversee funding sources as assigned.
• Provide reporting as required by grant or funding sources, with analysis of actual to budget variances.
