GoGoMeds-Select in Fairfield, OH, seeks a Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to prepare pet prescriptions and human medications, under pharmacist supervision. Responsibilities include compounding, labeling, quality checks, and documentation, with a focus on accuracy and safety in a fast-growing pharmacy setting.

The role requires a high school diploma, Ohio technician training, and ideally PTCB Non-Sterile Compounding certification, with eligibility for Ohio Board of Pharmacy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and Ohio-approved technician training.
• Ohio Board of Pharmacy registration as a Registered or Certified Technician.
• PTCB Non-Sterile Compounding Certificate ideal.

Responsibilities

• Prepare compounded products according to prescription orders under supervision of a pharmacist.
• Select containers for dispense or storage per medication type and program requirements.
• Calculate and measure ingredients accurately for correct concentration and dosages.
• Maintain organization, cleanliness, and PPE per USP guidelines during compounding.
• Document all compounding activities, including lot numbers and expiration dates.
• Operate and maintain compounding equipment and perform routine calibrations.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with purchasing to avoid stockouts.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with USP standards and state laws.

Education
