Job summary

GoGoMeds-Select in Fairfield, OH is seeking a Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to prepare pet prescriptions and specialty medications under pharmacist supervision. You will handle topical preparations, liquids, capsules, and related compounding tasks with emphasis on accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Ohio Board of Pharmacy approved tech training.
• Registration with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy as a Registered or Certified Technician.
• PTCB certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare compounded products according to prescription orders under supervision of a pharmacist.
• Select appropriate containers to dispense or store compounded medications.
• Calculate and measure ingredients to ensure correct concentration and dosages.
• Maintain clean and professional environment and wear PPE per USP standards.
• Document compounding activities, including lot numbers, expiration dates, and procedures.
• Operate and maintain compounding equipment and troubleshoot issues.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing to maintain stock.
• Ensure compliance with USP <795>, USP <800> and state laws.

Skills

Pharmacy technician experience

Education
