Job summary

ShopRite is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for the Non-Perishable department (Garafalo CT) to partner with the Store Manager in driving sales, service, and profitability. You will lead the department, coach associates, and ensure safety and compliance while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

You will oversee daily operations, coordinate with Retail teams, and implement best practices to maximize performance and associate engagement.

Qualifications

• Ability to make decisions to improve business results based on data available.
• Strong written and spoken English proficiency.
• Basic math skills for daily store operations.
• Stamina to stand/walk a full shift and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Proficiency with basic computer functions and store systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all store functions to meet sales, profit and service goals.
