Position Summary:

The primary goal of this role is to assist the Director in ensuring that the emotional and social needs of residents are met on an individual basis. You will help plan, organize, implement, evaluate, and oversee the operation of the community’s Social Services Department, in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, policies, and procedures. You will also ensure compliance with health, sanitary, and infection control policies, maintaining standards set by the community's administration and social services policies.

Education and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively with supervisors, staff, and community members
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitary techniques
  • Flexible to work scheduled hours as required
  • Must not pose a health or safety threat to others

Experience:

  • Experience in healthcare, social services, direct care, or hospitality preferred
  • Long-term care experience is required

Shift & Wage:

  • Full-Time
  • Shift: 8am - 4:30pm
  • Wage: $22.00/hour
